Thanks to the great audience of music lovers who completely sold out this show with their NYA pre-sale tickets! No scalpers! No business deals in the background with your tickets! No advertising. It was all just us!

Brought out ‘Gold Rush’ on the pump organ. Played ‘War of Man’ on “Hank”. Sang ‘Birds’ on the Burnt Grand in the original arrangement circa Buffalo Springfield.

The crowd was the real hero! I was happy to join …

When you come to see the show, the great John Hammond will be there with me. Two nights in Chicago and one night only in Detroit. See you there!

NY

What a night! The audience was really amazing. They listened to me and they listened to John Hammond. It was quiet while I sang and played. The NYA audiences are the greatest! The fact is that everyone there got tickets through NYA. All tickets to the show at the sold out gloriously restored Fox Theater, were purchased right here by our supporters. What a pleasure to play at this exquisite palace of art. No scalpers. …

Looking forward to hearing John Hammond Thursday evening. He will be with me at the Fox. One of the greatest acoustic artists of our time, John is a blues singer and player who has shared shows with me since January in 1971 when we did our first tour together. It is always a great privilege to share the stage with him.

I love the Fox Theater in St. Louis because it holds so many deep …

You made my day! What a great crowd. Funny how an unplanned set breathes like real rock and roll. WE just play what we feel like playing, for as long as we feel like playing it, and it works for us!

Last night OHIO took on a new life near the end of the set. For some reason it felt good to mention a president’s name in a song without it being the current occupant …

We’re gonna turn on the Sign of Love for you! The buses are rolling, the band is high. We will be playing after the great Jack White. It's always a gift to hear music echoing in the open air with a big moon out there and all you people. The feeling of a huge crowd moving together in the muse is unlike any other. We will be jamming. We are on our way and hope …

Thursday night will be another night of music at the Lobero Theater.
Join us and enjoy this added show with Neil and Promise of the Real.

www.theguardian.com/music/2018/jun/04/neil-young-archives

And that’s why Neil Young Archives feels like a breakthrough. Here at last is an online presentation of an artist’s catalogue that presents the hits and the rarities, alongside all the relevant information about every track – the lineup, the location, the producer, where it was released, plus supporting documents, photos. It’s like one of the first wave of box sets expanded to its logical extreme, but still – despite its huge breadth – …

I found myself listening to this today. Stills on piano during the tracking with my live lead vocal, then again on guitars as overdubs on the track. Nash’s singing is beautiful to me, all the way through the oohs and then Crosby’s part under ‘Blue Blue windows’. They are exceptionally poignant to me now.

I noticed in the mix that the chorus comes in pretty loud the first time, maybe disturbing the reflection in the …

Le Noise is one of my all time favorites. Think of it as an intimate acoustic performance, someone singing just for you and all about you, at least on some of the songs.

Engage with this soft message of love’s sickness and wellness. When it finally deconstructs itself before your eyes, you will be surrounded by love and noise.

Le Noise,

Produced by Daniel Lanois, a true genius, is one of my all time …

Six shows- Four of my favorite cities.

Chicago- (2 shows) At the Chicago Auditorium Theater, the same theater where we played one of our first CSNY gigs, just before Woodstock; where I played Tonight’s the Night in 1973. I have played Chicago many times since then, had big times in so many halls and stadiums, and this one will be like coming home. I hope all the folks who want to hear me will be …

I just want to say to the crowd, we see you. We feel you all there together with each other and with us. It’s a rush to be there. We know you are fellow travelers because we have seen you through the years. Seeing you, empowered to be where you want to be for our shows, we see ourselves.

Thank You.

Crazy Horse thanks you for your soulful theater and hospitality to our music lovers from around the world.

NYA

A beautiful theater such as this is almost a thing of the past. Like the music played there and the pictures seen, it is a wonder how time could wipe it clean. But right now. But right now. But right now again. Stay with the time and linger the scene, but right now everything is the way it seems.

If Our Buses Work

Back on the stage with Promise of the Real! We will begin playing again starting at this great California festival in June and it will be a blast. We plan on doing something to get up and running and we will share that with you when we are ready. We may even live stream it on Movie Night if our buses work. I really look forward to playing my songs again …

When we make a vinyl record, it is always taken from the master tapes. We get the best sound possible and it usually sounds better than the original vinyl. So many advances have been made in the technology of vinyl and we are taking advantage of them all. Re-mastering is supervised by John Hanlon and we use the very best mastering procedures and facilities available. Because of the care we take to check every one …

In 1973, I drove my 1947 Buick Roadmaster, ‘Black Queen’ to LA from the North, accompanied by Ben Keith. Once in LA, Hollywood to be exact, we met up with Billy Talbot and Ralph Molina. Nils Lofgren joined us and we drove to SIR (studio Instrument Rentals on Santa Monica Boulevard). David Briggs, producer, and Johnny Talbot, equipment manager, met us there. They had blasted a hole in the wall and set …
