Looking forward to hearing John Hammond Thursday evening. He will be with me at the Fox. One of the greatest acoustic artists of our time, John is a blues singer and player who has shared shows with me since January in 1971 when we did our first tour together. It is always a great privilege to share the stage with him.
I love the Fox Theater in St. Louis because it holds so many deep memories. The dressing room is full of autographs through the many years, dating all the way to back when. I hope to return many times. It is one of my favorite places as I love old theaters so much.
Fox Theaters are an institution. They should all be saved to remind us who we are and what we have accomplished as a people.
