Yesterday we played the next album, ‘Second Song’ for our family at Reprise Records. It was a celebration! I have been doing this for about 60 years and am so thankful to be still doing it in these days. Michael Ostin, son of Mo Ostin, was there with us. Mo was president of Reprise when we started.The album is quite special to all of us who made it together, the Chrome Hearts, Lou Adler, Niko Bolas, John Hanlon and all of our engineers and staff.
Playback happened on the roof of the Reprise building in downtown LA. The wind was howling up there! My son Ben was with us. We were all so happy! I can’t wait until you hear this album. Music is good for the soul and this one is special.
So love to you all. I hope you are well and happy. These days we have a lot to worry about but we still have much to celebrate. Families, love, life.
