‘Big Island Transmission’, shown here recently, is the rehearsal session for the tour this is from. One night’s performance from this tour was made into a film “Live at Red Rocks.”
The band, a great group of musicians featuring Duck Dunn on bass, Ben Keith on steel and slide, Jimmy Keltner on drums and Spooner Oldham on piano and organ, with singers Pegi Young and my sister Astrid Young, was aptly called ’Friends and Relatives!’
I love playing music. Ups and downs. All is well.
