Produced by myself and Ben Keith, this album is mostly acoustic, recorded in my studio at Broken Arrow Ranch and at Arlyn Studio in Austin Texas, ‘Oscar Butterworth’ aka Kenny Buttery, played drums in Austin on Buffalo Springfield Again and The Great Divide.
Jimmy Keltner played drums on all other tracks. Duck Dunn bass, Ben Keith steel and slide, Spooner Oldham piano and organ. Linda Ronstadt and Emmy Lou Harris sang with me. I was very lucky to have these wonderful ladies singing with me!
LA Johnson produced and directed a film in Austin Texas called ‘Silver and Gold’ that includes many of these same songs.
