remembering the butterfly onstage….. corey and i saw it on our rubber floor with one inch deep round holes where it the rubber flexes as we move. we noticed the butterfly fluttering between the holes, dancing around – making the most beautiful moves.. Both of us mesmerized by its motion and beauty as we stood and played the groove of a long instrumental song – maybe ‘love and only love’. The butterfly’s beautiful wings fluttered, as it moved around the perforated rubber floor from hole to hole, dancing with us,…sometimes flying a foot or two and dropping down near another hole again for a few moves……we were with it….then it disappeared under the drum riser……
in line…..wait for crossing….. to a new land.
sleep…..,morning deep forest walk with shade from heatwave…thankful for these comforts of nature…..trees, protecting us…..
in the city now – its so clean….any waste or garbage is neatly stacked for pickup….fast pickup….Brussels is a beauty….. thanks Belgium for this……medieval church in center surrounded

by even older structures from the deep past. bad news as our cook Ron just tested positive for COVID……he delivered our food just this morning…..we eat on the bus…….just to stay safe from covid.. no restaurants,,,,,our crew tests every day for Covid.. no one allowed on stage without a covid test…..to prove safety for all….we are diligent to protect the tour from Covid as it could shut us down.……

deep in the city now….music will be here…..waiting for us……many trees shelter road and walkways from the blistering sun huge ferris wheel on horizon……people of all walks and colors on the street…healthy, trim, all walking together …..roundabout….Brussels……overweight people nowhere to be seen here….excellent food in the markets, maybe that’s where our cook caught covid?…..lion statues…..park,……oops, one overweight person…..one…..parking on the downtown street…..amazing statues everywhere..ancient….some broken….

on the 4 lane to nether land. ……having Daryl’s great breakfast. Cook Ron is still down with COVID…will be back in about 4 days give or take……no time to walk today….Last night music I made a lot of mistakes, but no one seemed to notice……everyone loved what happened in front of the Castle….. looked like people were a mile deep….bad news from USA…Canadians asked at the border if they supported the president. When they said no, they were not allowed access to the formerly great country……so sad……no one is standing up…..… Where are the millions? They are needed on the streets……crossing beautiful green sided canals now in nether land with big barges going up and down canals…barges crossing under the 4 lane as we fly by above……..hundreds of wind turbines…not kidding…hundreds here…. unbelievable. Netherlands so focused on clean energy.!!!! ! USA so far behind….going in reverse….. I have never seen so many turbines..all turning….there could be thousands here. …..earth energy….. So great to see people trying to have a clean planet. more bad news from USA…might be worse than Russia??……where are the people??
4 lane rolls on…..green fields….clean….modern factories…….unique architecture…..no amazon trucks or warehouses…..no corporate control of farms…..unbelievable difference….clean lands….not corporate control farming like USA…it’s like this all over Europe…..——USA needs leadership. What a disaster we are having as the world tries to counter climate change… CHINA so far out front….. USA goin’ backwards….Leadership now! please! save the country!. —- Beautiful green fields roll on, farms, communities, towns,, no corporate branding….people working…..4 lane straight and true through nether land……..
