wow look how old i am!
in the middle of the night a howling wind blew the heat away! This morning we went for a long walk in the forest with the coolness there refreshing us. That heat was brutal. People listening to music were wiped out and fainting. medics running in and out…..on the road now, more beautiful scenes of green and forests here…….
july 4 is tomorrow. Now it may be remembered as the day the American way of life died. While people in the richest nation in Earth are without Health care, billionaires take private jets to weddings, Billionaires are the big story, covered in full by the USA’s corporate paid press…….You can tell that this is driving us all nuts. We love America. How could we have voted for this? The answer is : We didn’t. We have been lied to……..
It’s still beauty all around here in Germany, where Hitler was so long ago. Germany recovered. We will too…….but it will take a long time. Any moment now the US government will pass a bill guaranteeing no health care for those who need it…while giving giant tax cuts to the billionaire class. UN-AMERICAN.
Fields of sunflowers beg our attention. Relief! Nature. LOVE. hope! a beautiful road with old trees bordering it…green beauty beyond…..We roll on……music is in the future I heard it going to sleep last night…..old songs I wrote that may be right again today…..the joy of music, in the moment….. with happy people….Music is a gift and i appreciate it.

…..Tonight – July 3rd, we play in Waldbuhne, the giant outdoor theater Hitler spoke in years ago, designed with a curving tunnel to the stage so he couldn’t be shot. coming or going…..
Traveling through Berlin now – on approach to the great old theater in the woods……. graffiti is back
