We all love listening to music and it should be simpler than it is to experience quality. But over the years it’s become more complicated with all of the new ways we have to listen. Now there are so many ways to listen – so many devices and so many formats, each with their own limitations, that it’s become confusing to know what to do. This page will try to demystify, simplify and provide useful advice.
I’m more like all of you than an audio authority, someone that enjoys high quality music, and I, too, often get stumped with all of the new acronyms and abbreviations. That’s why we’ve invited guest contributors to join us. You’ll be reading a variety of articles written by others, including musicians and experts in the industry that design, make, use and sell audio equipment to offer explanations, recommendations and solutions.
While specific products may be mentioned, it’s only being done to provide some guidance. NYA continues to be a commercial-free site with no advertising other than Neil’s own works and our book. There are never any referral fees, and no income from anyone but you our members and our Greedy Hands Store. I hope you’ll enjoy this new page as we all learn together. Let us know your questions and what you’d like us to cover on this page.
