When we electrified Lincvolt – my 1959 Lincoln, it was a mere curiosity. Now it’s a matter of life and death for the planet as we know it. We need to stop polluting. That means stop touring if I can’t electrify my bus. We have already started to plan this and we will get on it asap. That is very fast – as fast as we can safely do it. The tour will wait for the clean bus. Not for Covid.
The Earth is more important to me than the pandemic. Earth is being systematically attacked by the industry and business we have created – our very way of life. We have to act now to change. We are already late. There is so little time left to turn it around that it must begin today – now. No more fossil fuel traveling for me. I am working to remove use of fossil fuel from our home, no fossil fuel vehicles on our property. That is my goal.
No dirty jets. We haven’t used them for years anyway.
When we hit the road, in whatever configuration arises, we will be as clean as we can be.
Back home, Ford Lightnings will be used by caretakers. We will be clean.
That is why I am not going out on tour for a while, but i will do everything I can to get to you and share some music.
