The new Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real record is called “Naked Garden” and it’s basically raw unreleased tracks from the “turn off the news sessions” at shangri la , accompanied by some alternate versions of songs released in the last record ..
Naked Garden’s the album the band wished they released last time (although proud of the old one, they felt like they went too far in slicking it up with their producer.)
The same personnel was involved as the last record, but when they put this compilation together, the band says “we forced ourselves to let it go in its pure form.”
The result is Naked and Real. It’s a great album. Another beauty from the Nelson’s extended family!
