A Real Dream
I have my own dreams, real dreams, but after I wake up and go down the steps to the front door, I am engulfed in simulated dreams and I lose my real dreams in the copies. I have real dramas, but when I must make an important point I am surrounded by actors and my drama is lost in the professionals. I have real uniqueness but I find myself talking to custom-made precision personalities. I do have my own real dreams but after I wake up and walk out across the city into the roaring crowd, sometimes I stop because I sense something. I don’t turn to look at it. I don’t move. I softly edge toward it. It’s a real dream. I stand there and let it devour me.
