Everything is so violent just now, it’s hard to think. The sorrow and helplessness just takes over. But as our thoughts emerge from the shadows, they are clear and radical. The struggle for Peace is one with the struggle for the Earth.
I mean radical as in root. The Earth poisoners and the tribal soldiers are blind to the simple, vulnerable, sensual life of loved ones and friends. The innocents are the truest guides to the practice of Peace.
We have held forth at our “Earthchxrch” in an East Village converted bank, for 15 months. And now we embark on 15 months more, to the end of next year. The humor and Earth spirit in the music does wonders to our singing interventions during the week…
