This week we let fly one of our 29 minute radio shows. Earth Riot Radio is a fast-moving semi-trippy plunge into the fiery stink of the Apocalypse. This week we offer – along with the voices of Loons and Jackals and Timber Wolves and Howling Monkeys – two brilliant Earth-loving guests, Gail Bradbrook and Alnoor Ladha. The live link to the show is down there below their bios. Earthalujah!

Alnoor Ladha comes from a Sufi lineage and writes about the crossroads of politics and spirituality in troubled times. He founded and led for 7 years the global activist collective The Rules, exploring changes in our governance. Alnoor is currently the Council Chair for Culture Hack Labs and co-director of Transition Resource Circle. He is certainly a comrade in the peoples’ movements, including the Church of Stop Shopping, but also advises foundations and NGO’s. Alnoor recently published his “Post Capitalist Philanthropy: The Healing of Wealth in the Time of Collapse.”
Gail Bradbrook is passionate about social change from a loving place. She is co-founder of Extinction Rebellion, the global environmental movement, where nonviolent civil disobedience compels government action against the cascading crisis of the Earth and humanity. Gail has forcefully addressed many thousands about the evolution of climate activism. In the five years since XR’s founding, Gail has spoken often of the necessary change of consciousness that all of us must experience, so that we will create a more powerful creativity in our civil disobedience.

If you want to join our “Radical Lunch” activism this Friday, email Revbilly@revbilly.com. Or, on Sunday the 10th join us at our selling-out show at Joe’s Pub at The Public Theater. After our finale on the 17th at Joe’s Pub, the singing activists re-surface at 5pm EST at the Earthchxrch on Sunday January 14th.
Please help us with our rent, musicians, food and transport — and then there’s the cost of reaching out to tell folks that we can defend the Earth by singing beautiful songs in fossil banks…
