1st Year Anniversary Reflections from Billy
The experiment gave us tools that we took up immediately a year ago. Humor and music for defending the Earth? Consciously approaching arrest-risking events? And debriefing afterward under the Blue Marble Earth photo, our altar? It is working! We want to make a useful communion for Earth activists.

People we knew from ACT UP, Occupy, border battles with ICE, the Queer Liberation March, Black Lives Matter… it’s the secret talk of trees, the silence of extinction, the violence against the people of the global south. These basic leaps of faith worked from the first Sunday and now it’s been a year.
