A girl introduced me to the album 4 Way Street (Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young) when I was 16. I remember it like it was yesterday, beautiful songs and vocal harmonies. But what definitely impressed me was Neil’s interpretation of On The Way Home. I had been away from home for a while, all my feelings were mixed together, and this song led me to feel more peaceful, more at home. And to this day it is one of the ones I love most. I follow and mine all of Neil’s work. I love his music, poetry, sincerity, and criticism when the world needs to be challenged. They are perfect for living. Ever since then I have held my breath with my eyes closed.
