COUNTRY GIRL

Hello,

Where can I find “Country Girl” by Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings, performed at BSB? I know it was available on NYA, but I cannot find it anymore …

Thanks for your help,
Best, Albert.

Hi Albert!
Country Girl from Bridge Benefit 2006 is still up on NYA, but you’re right to notice it’s a little less front and center than the officially released music on the site. Like all songs that don’t have infocards, when you search “Country Girl” (or Gillian Welch, or David Rawlings) the track will not appear in the Songs tab, but you can find it in categories where it does appear. In this case, navigate over to the search results for Playlists and find the song in the “Member Requests From Live Performances” Playlist, the repository for all the single-song excerpts from concerts that folks have requested in letters.

DREAM COMFORT

Hey Neil!

I just wanted to say thank you for sharing my video, Dream Comfort Memory to Spare. I am very touched. I know that you are very passionate in your quest to save analog music. It is very important that we share it with our kids and grandkids in order to keep it alive. Save the music!!
Peace and love to you and Daryl and all of your beautiful animals. I really adore them!

With Love and Gratitude,
Christine Ruda

Thanks Christine!!
Analog is alive and well in our latest album, coming your way soon….
LOVE,
Neil

SILVER EAGLE

Thanks for the Silver Eagle debut at Ohio last year—my friend Alex and I dig that song..

Cruising down the highway in my little silver Honda, smoking joints, talking about what song we’d wanna hear off the latest record (on the off chance one gets played), we both decided on Silver Eagle.

As you told the intro story we realized, and shared a knowing glance and laughed. Also caught Big Crime in Chicago, which was a good surprise.

I love when you decide to play the new songs!

Evan

Thanks Evan

AS TIME EXPLODES

Greetings Neil,

Just a quick note saying I’m thoroughly enjoying “As Time Explodes,” which I picked up at a local independent shop on Record Store Day.

Kudos to you and the Chrome Hearts. Also want to give a shoutout to fellow Jersey guy Danny Clinch for those great photos!

Stay well,

POLO CENTRAL

Hi Neil, Daryl and Everyone at NYA,

It was good to find the time to check it and see what has been happening with you. I enjoyed the Take Back America video. Yes, let’s keep on rocking in the free world!

Your new Friends and Family section in the file cabinet is really fun, and I’ll be back to hear more of that for sure. I also loved the video with the kids listening to vinyl. Helpless never meant so much!

The new album looks to be excellent, and I will anxiously await having a listening session here at Polo Central in the near future. The Hi-Fi is nearly finished so I won’t have to use headphones only. Though for loud levels that’s my bonus, I need to keep my neighbors happy!

Question: What that box framing the floor monitor in the Take America Back video? Another amp, control or what?

Keep on brother.

Peace, Love and Music!
-Mudflow Mike

Thanks Mike
Not sure ABOUT THE BOX YET…..

Neil

CONSUMED

Hi Neil, I’m a 27-year-old mechanic who’s recently been completely consumed by your music. I’m captivated by your seemingly limitless authenticity displayed through music; it’s incredibly refreshing and I wanted to thank you for that. Do you have any advice for a guy with a lot of life changes ahead of him and staying authentic through them?

All love
Michael
