Hi Neil!
GREAT NEWS about ORS#6! Just pre-ordered! Always dreamed with Sleeps With Angels and Mirrorball in vinyl! Thanks for that!
About the four Mirrorball remixed tracks, can you tell us about them? Why do they need to be remixed? Any relative changes in vocals or instruments?
p.s.: what about Geffen albums? Next ORS?
p.s. 2: COME ROCK IN BRAZIL!
Mirrorball was mostly analog. The four tracks were originally mixes to lower res digital. Since we had a chance to improve that quality we did it. The CDs are still the original digital mixes. I hope you enjoy them. Its always sketchy to change the original. I hope to be back in Brazil.

Dear Neil,
I’m very Thankful that you are still playing and are a witness to the present day dystopian nightmare that we are all facing as human beings on this precious planet , EARTH, which must be suffering her own PTSD , along with Our Lady Liberty right now in 2025….The unspeakable horrors that are being done against our Constitution and Our Land , now must be Shouted Down and Dealt With By All of Us all over this world as we know it … everybody in the Congress everybody in the Senate must act now against the tyranny that is being imposed on all of us whether you were senator or a congressman or woman we have to rise up and deal with this situation.
We are all free to be free in this world and country. No one man—not even the president—can put us in prison or take our rights away from us. They shall not be done. They shall not happen for as long as we all live so if you have a back, if you have a backbone, if you have a spine, you don’t have a yellow mark running down your spine, your tail’s not between your legs and you’re not running off in fear. We have to face up to our responsibilities of taking care of each other and not be ruled by the current administration and its president. This will not stand … America, America, as Allen Ginsberg once said, go fuck yourself with your atom bomb. I don’t care. I’m putting my shoulder to the wheel queer or not queer. That’s beside the point. I’m putting my shoulder to the wheel. I don’t wanna say America I’ve given you all and now I’m nothing, America. Be proud of your citizens and your country and representation is by the people for the people of the people—this current administration and president do not represent us any longer. He must be put away and dealt with, thank you.
God bless you, Neil Daryl, and all fellow Neil Young fans. I’m afraid of the future, but I’m not giving up. Your current song proves it. “Too Much Crime in D.C.” is, I’m afraid, becoming an understatement: if we don’t act now it won’t be crime anymore. It will be something worse—unbearable evil consuming the whole friggin’ world.
Sincerely,
Marc & Stacey
Hey Marc and Stacey…you are right.

Hey Neil,
I’ve been a patron for a bit now but just wanted to say thank you for a great past few years full of music. It was during COVID that I started to get into your music and I had always known the hits but finally decided to dive deeper a few years ago and have listened to pretty much all of it. Since then I’ve seen you three times and I’m so glad I could be part of it. I introduced my dad to your music last year when I brought him to see you at Great Woods in Mass (which is funny since I’m only 23 and he’s in his 50’s). Thanks for giving us a great point of connection via your music. We most recently saw you in the pit in Gilford NH and brought my little brother along with us. Such a great night and memory. Really nice venue too; I hope you enjoyed New Hampshire and its scenery. I had meant to write you a letter months ago to suggest checking out the White Mountain National Forest as it would be a beautiful place to drive through with your bus. Heres to hoping you come back to the Northeast. Cheers to you, the Chrome Hearts, and the whole team! Thanks Neil

Dear Neil,
I’m writing to you with all the emotion of someone who has seen how deeply your music can touch a soul.
My partner, Claudio, has been listening to you since forever. Every time he hears your name, or even just says it, his eyes light up, and often fill with tears. You are not just a musician to him; you are the soundtrack of his life. And now, of our love story, too.
Claudio has carried great weight in his life. He cared for his mother, who passed away from Alzheimer’s, with endless love—day and night, for years. Your music was often the only thing that could bring him a moment of peace during those dark days.
Our love story is a long and beautiful one. I was once his student, and years later, after I became a teacher, we found each other again. We had loved each other many years ago, and after being apart, we came back to one another two years ago. We’ve always loved each other deeply and never stopped believing in that love.
Your music has been a quiet companion through it all—through sorrow and healing, waiting and reunion. It means more to Claudio than words can say. And through him, it means the world to me too.
Neil, if there’s even the slightest chance you might read this, I have one heartfelt wish: would you consider writing just a few words—a short line, a little greeting—for Claudio?
It would be the greatest surprise of his life. He is a beautiful soul and he always deserves to smile. He has given so much of himself to others, and your voice is the one that reaches deepest into his heart. You are my only hope to make that smile happen in a way no one else could.
And—if I may confess one last thing—you might also be the only one who could help me with something even more personal.
You see, I hope Claudio will marry me one day. We’ve been through so much together, and I dream of building the rest of our lives as husband and wife. So maybe, just maybe, a little sign from you would help him take that beautiful step with me 😉❤️
With all my love and gratitude
Tania
Hey Claudio

ACT on Bootlegs
NYA
An American Conscience Tax (ACT) should apply to equalizing and protecting workers, all workers, in every field of creative hard endeavor, from painting to medical research to music to woodworking to, yes, merch—for those that paint, draw and sketch the fabulous mementos from tours and albums. Bootlegging is out of hand. Recently online there are, for cheap, dozens of tee shirts, hoodies, caps from the recent LOVE EARTH tour, claiming exact replicas. Everyone is losing, from merchandiser to printer to artist, and those of us that pay higher prices for the real thing, are also losing. We’re not supporting those that should receive and, in the end, getting a “piece of crap.”
VOTE AND SUPPORT ACT FOR ALL THAT DESERVE.
J.G.
PS I encourage NYA to reach out to eBay to get rid of all the bootleg stuff. Thanks.
JG
We have registered my name for copyright so it will; be harder for this to happen. i am waiting for the approval. Its a process unfortunately. its a battle in this country to protect rights.

Hiya Neil,
I have a question for you but figured you’d get a kick out of this: Last time i wrote in I was on vacation making honeyslides at Pescadero Beach with a friend. During that trip I fell in love with the Bay Area and as an impulsive 22-year old, I figured that since we had already bought tickets to see you at Shoreline, I might as well just move in come September and save money on a return trip!
Alright moving on. for my own curiosity I wanted to ask: were you ever a fan of M*A*S*H? ever get high in the morning and find yourself watching Rocky and Bullwinkle reruns? how was the TV reception out at the ranch at all?
Thats all. Hope you’re doing good after the tour. Oh and tell Daryl we eagerly await her next filmmaking adventure too.
LOVE EARTH, now more than ever,
Siobhan

Hey Neil,
Saw you’ll be sharing the stage with Lana Del Rey for the Harvest Moon gig this month—neat get. I saw her open with My My, Hey Hey at Coachella last year; would be pretty cool if you two did something like that together.
Cheers,
Alex

Since the album Rust Never Sleeps came out I have been coming back to the track Thrasher. Now in my senior years I think I know why. The song for me is about:
Adventure and anticipation
Determination
Reflection
and Hope.
All good things in life!
You are one of the absolute best in what you do!
