It’s Not Just Trump's Enemies
Biden Should Pardon

Onward.

By Scott Dworkin

It’s been reported President Biden is considering offering preemptive pardons for different people Trump has targeted. That could include people like Dr. Fauci, Adam Kinzinger, Letitia James, Jack Smith, and Liz Cheney, to name a few.

I’m all for it. Because we have a duty to protect everyone who stands up to Donald. Preemptive pardons would put at least some guardrails in place to help shield these patriots from Trump’s promise of retribution—even though they have done nothing wrong.

I’ve heard some argue it would give Trump an excuse to abuse pardon powers, but it’s too late for that. We’ve already seen Donald do it, letting so many actual criminals and traitors off the hook. He’s gonna do it again, no matter what.

Others complain pardons won’t be enough to stop maga from making life difficult for their perceived enemies. But one thing I’ve learned over the last 8 years of fighting Trump, is you have to be relentless. You have to use every tool available when you’re up against maga, without fear of how Donald may react. This time is no exception.

But it’s not just Trump’s enemies who deserve a pardon. Biden should also offer them to those who are serving harsh prison terms for nonviolent drug offenses.

That’s why our Watchdog Coalition just launched a new campaign, strongly urging President Biden to offer these pardons.

NYA Thanks the Dworkin Report!
