NYA recently added two new file drawers to house Outtakes and music from Friends & Families. This improves usability and provides a way to easily add new content and for you to easily find it. The new content can be accessed in the apps from the Menu. We are still working out a few bugs related to some tracks in the Outtakes drawer not playing, and that should be corrected within the next couple of days.
We plan to add these new categories to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto -assuming there’s sufficient interest. If you use either in your car, drop us a note and let us know how you like it.
Lastly, we’ve begun a major migration of our website from Amazon Web Services to Digital Ocean. It’s very costly and will take several months to complete, but it should be transparent and not affect the operation of NYA.
As you may know, Neil has removed all his media merchandise from Amazon, as well his music from Amazon Music because of the company and its founder Jeff Bezos’s support of Donald Trump, his hollowing out of the Washington Post, and his funding of the movie Melania that has been described by the press as nothing more than a bribe. We are now completing our total disassociation from Amazon by moving away from AWS who we and thousands others use to host their website.
