The big retail banks are now readying the AI-powered teller window. We will be talking to robots at the screen in bank lobbies, as we deposit or withdraw cash, adjust loans, etc. The lobbies on the street, which are open all night for people with bank cards, will evolve into small pleasure centers, cafes, dating locations, screens on the walls will feature influencers….
The ITM lobby will soon have robots on the teller window screens. Surveillance and security will be super-enforced, but customers with good credit will walk up to the ITM and enter into their transaction immediately through AI-speed facial recognition. Then, what is offered by finger taps to the screen will become increasingly elaborate: time-shares in Belize, tickets to Broadway, buy a house.
The AI companion in the ITM can have intimate conversations with customers, helping them with their purchases. For a fee we will ask for private meetings, creating an enclosure, a “teller booth”. Here, we can meet with our AI companion, a bank teller cum confessor-priest cum sexual partner.
The general picture we’re getting is a mass delusion event. All-convenience is morphing into all-desire. ONE STOP BANKING takes on terrifying dimensions. The usually bare-walled gloomy ATM lobby will become a cafe by day and a nightclub by night, or detach and roll down the street as a walk-in trailer-truck, or float off in a repurposed yacht with stage acts that give your cash withdrawal the aura of a Vegas casino.
This is hard to believe for many Americans, because most of us don’t really understand the skyrocketing dominance of the banking industry in our lives. A single investment bank, Blackrock, has assets under management greater than the budgets of Germany and Japan combined. The banking industry, led by JP Morgan Chase, is bankrolling the gas and oil industries, over riding the objections of a frightened public that sees thousand-mile-wide hurricanes and cities bursting into flames.
It’s hard to imagine mass extinction. Just like we can’t imagine that our entire weekend could soon be spent inside a bank lobby. “Honey! Tonight let’s have a night on the town. Let’s make a deposit!”
