Live Rust – Neil Young & Crazy Horse
released 11-14-1979
The live album is a great way to hear and feel the Horse. LIVE RUST is a pure live record. Rust Never Sleeps was many live tracks from two tours (‘The Boarding House’ and ‘Rust Never Sleeps’) with the audience removed from the mix and over-dubs added, creating kind of a hybrid live / studio sound.
‘The Boarding House’ is a film currently in pre-production at NYA. LIVE RUST is the Horse at an early peak. Produced by David Briggs.
