This time we look at the venues hosting the most Neil shows since 1966. Top non-US venue is the Hammersmith Odeon in London, England, later renamed twice (and incidentally where I saw my first live show in 1976!). The only other venue outside the US to make the “10+” list is the Sportpaleis Ahoy’, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
The figures for the Whisky a Go Go and Ondine include a number of shows which have not been definitely confirmed. Particularly in the years 1966-68, there may even be further shows which have not been counted by Sugar Mountain. The Whisky could therefore very easily be entitled to the #1 position.
Where early and late shows were separately held at a venue on the same day, two shows are counted. Venues which have changed their name are counted together here under the oldest known name.
