EIRE

How’s it going Neil,

Delighted to see another date for Ireland appear today! The highlight of last summer was that rainy gig in Malahide, the atmosphere, the sound and the spirit in the air that night was incredible!

I have been lucky to catch you and Bob Dylan in Kilkenny in 2019 for the first time and am very much looking forward to another Sing Song next summer!

How do you feel about the Irish crowds! What keeps you coming back to us! (thankfully!)

All the best

Peace and Love

EUROPE TOUR

Dear Neil:

What a joy that you can finally return to Europe with the whole band! This summer, after the concert in the Netherlands, I heard rumors that you would like to do some dates in southern Europe again, but that perhaps it would be in a solo format.

I don’t know if the entire tour will be closed at this point, but I can’t help but encourage you again to take a look at Conciertos del Botánico, in Madrid: it is a wonderful space within a botanical garden. A special and respectful place for the public and artists. It is not sponsored by any large corporation. All food stalls are from local producers. In recent years, among many others, Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, Van Morrison and Wilco have passed through there.

In any case, next summer see you down the road! Love.

Germán

Germán,
Thanks!
I will tell my agent about Conciertos del Botánico

99 ACOUSTIC TOUR

Hi Neil,

Would any of the ’99 acoustic tour material ever be considered for a Performance Series album release?

Thanks so much for everything!

GLASGOW

Hi Neil
Wonderful news that you and the Chrome Hearts are coming to Glasgow next summer. News that comes just after Scotland qualified for the World Cup. You have lifted the nation’s mood even higher! As a man from Liverpool once said You Must Be Prepared To Dream.

See you in June
Hugh

Thanks Hugh

CODROIPO

Dear Neil,

Thanks Neil, I just bought tickets for the show in Codroipo on July 16, 2026, the day after my birthday! I couldn’t have hoped for more: a fantastic location in the original park of a wonderful 18th-century Venetian residence just a few kilometers from my home!

Hope you and Daryl and your family at large will be able to visit it during the time around the show.

This location is also a few miles away from Venice; wish you have some spare time to get around there too.

See you boys there next summer then. It will be a magical show!!

Roberto

Thanks Roberto

Timeline Picks

Neil,

Do Poncho, Ralph and Billy have any picks for Timeline shows???
Would love to see a section in NYA that listed some of their Timeline concert picks.

Be well.

Q and A

Hello Neil,

First off, I hope you had a wonderful birthday. Long may you run! Second, there are more than a few Neil fans who’d love to have these questions answered:

When the heck is “From a Rusted-Out Garage” coming out? You said that it was part of an upcoming soundtrack series, but there have been no updates lately. Next year will be the 40th anniversary of that tour, a perfect occasion for its release. I would be first in line to buy it.

I will check it

2. Will the NYA team be posting outtakes from Archives III? I know folks have been clamoring for that—but inquiring minds (like me) need to know!

yes
3. Is “Nashville” slated for 2026? It would be fantastic to get back to the country again.
I would appreciate you providing an update on these projects. Thank you in advance, and be well!

Tom (a fan for 40-plus years)

Thanks!
not sure yet Tom

NEGLECTED

Gday Neil

Feeling a bit neglected down here in the Southern Pacific with you announcing another European tour in 2026.

Any chance you can squeeze in down under tour, it’s been a while since you graced our shores.

Ross

I miss you down there Ross.
Sorry there is not a way to do a bus tour and I don’t fly unless i have to.

AUSTRALIA

G’day everyone at NYA,

Now Neil, just heard the announcement of the Euro tour (BTW the UK is part of Europe).
Does this mean us Aussies have missed out again? Doesn’t seem fair. You toured there last year while it’s been 12 years (2013) since you been on our shores.

What will it take to get you to come here? Bribes, flowers, free koalas?

Love your music

CARDIFF

Just want to say that I saw you with Crazy Horse in the Phoenix festival in the UK in 1996 and you were absolutely superb. Now 2026 you are coming to Wales to Cardiff wow . I am retiring soon due to health but feel like a bloody 30 year old again after hearing this yesterday. I have booked my campsite near the Cardiff castle today and hopefully will get me and the wife tickets shortly over the next few days. I just want to say Thank You for coming to Wales and I cannot wait, and hope that you stay healthy and strong to selfishly give me the opportunity to watch you again.

Kindest Regards
Martin
. . .

Thank You for putting up pre-sale for Cardiff, Tickets bought, camper van booked. See you in Cardiff. Absolutely buzzing 30 years since the Phoenix festival 1996.

RAMADA INN

When I first listened to Ramada Inn, it took the breath out of me. The passion, the anguish, that story took me too hard. For years, I relished every listen and enjoyed experiencing the sonic hypnosis. Lately, I have been studying the Ramada Inn video. Every cut is PRECISE! I appreciate the passion for the story it took to edit that video. Best to all involved.

GLASGOW WITHOUT DAD
ONE FAN’S STORY

Hi Neil,

Been a long time yearly member of the Archives and second-generation Neil young fan. An amazing site for high quality music.

If I’m honest, when I first subscribed around four or five years ago after the Pono site closed, I had in mind that I’d maybe get the opportunity to access tickets for your next concert, whenever you toured again.

Today the long wait is over and I have secured some tickets for the Glasgow show in the UK. The only down side is that my dad isn’t around to attend this one.

The last time you played Glasgow in 2016, I took him and it was such a great night, as my dad was a lifelong fan.

I remember asking him when or why he became a fan, and he told me he was in a record shop, as would be the norm on a Friday, spending his wages on vinyl records. He heard one of your songs for the first time and was blown away.

More than 40 years later we were at the concert in Glasgow and it was electric. Could feel the energy you were getting performing with the POTR and the same coming back at you from them.

The year after this concert, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. In the months he battled along, I can still see him holding the gifts your management sent him: a book, hoodie, the bridge school t-shirt etc. He was so happy with the gesture and it will never be forgotten.

In the early hours of a sunny September morning, he passed away, wearing by chance the Rebel Content tour T-shirt.

This is just one fan’s story. Glad you’re still out there making great memories for thousands of others that attend your gigs.

All the best, see you next year!!

See you soon
Thanks!

TOUR

Hi Neil,

Thanks for coming to Europe again next year and thank the team for finding some great venues outside London.

Blenheim Palace is a wild site—home of the famous Churchill family and situated just outside the Oxfordshire town of Woodstock—so that might make you the only person to ever play two Woodstock festivals on two different continents.

Any chance of adding a German venue—there are so many great fans there I’ve conversed with over the years and they deserve a date too.

Have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas and keep well for the new year,
Tony “Hambone” in the UK

GOLD RUSH

Hi, I just want to let Neil know that “after the gold rush” is one of my best cover songs that I play on the conch shell. Yep, that’s right. I play the conch shell. One time, I even won a trophy and made the news across the USA and in Canada. Here’s a link to a video posted on my Instagram; can you make sure he sees this please? Thanks!

will see the video
