Brought out ‘Gold Rush’ on the pump organ. Played ‘War of Man’ on “Hank”. Sang ‘Birds’ on the Burnt Grand in the original arrangement circa Buffalo Springfield.
The crowd was the real hero! I was happy to join them. ‘One More Sign’ was still lingering on the wurlitzer back in the bus after the show.
Is this a real gig or a dream? We are still working on that and we will report an answer to you after tomorrow night’s show, the second of two at the incredible Chicago Auditorium Theater.
