This record was really the result of an extensive search through all the International Harvesters’ shows by John Nowland at Redwood Digital and myself. The International Harvesters was a truly amazing band. Perfect for me at the time – Hargus ‘Pig’ Robbins on the piano for some and Spooner Oldham for others. It was magic. Rufus Thibodeaux’s mind and soul bending fiddling on all the tunes. Ben Keith – great on dobro and steel. Karl Himmel on drums. Anthony Crawford on guitar. Tim Drummond on bass for some, sometimes Joe Allen on bass for others. Two greats. ‘A Treasure,’ so named by Long Grain Keith. I love this music and these people. It makes me feel good just thinking about it.
