While mothers pick up their kids from schools that have closed early from Air Conditioning failures during extreme heat, cars are idling in long lines outside as they wait for their children.
It’s time to wake up and realize that we need a complete stoppage of the manufacturing of fossil fuel cars in America. China is already well upon the way to doing this. Why is America so far behind?
Because it would be a political disaster for a president and government to lead us away from fossil fuels quickly, though it is clearly the best thing for our country. This is our time. Our problem. We created it. We need to solve it with direct action. Easy for me to say, because I’m an old rocker, but someone has to step up and make a big difference now.
Kamala Harris likes fracking. What a bunch of crap. That’s not the leadership we need, but its a hell of a lot better than the alternative.
That is where we are at.
