along the road, a centuries old stone fence of ancient towns roll by…built with small stones, goes for miles…..old old homes of stone….heading for the first english stop., still miles ahead…..beauty surrounds us as the green continues….rough 2-lane road slamming us around…..age is everywhere. I expect a knight in armor around the corner. now a four lane as traffic and speed increase….beauty again in classic farms. barns of stone, covered in grass, houses stand ageless. ……road work ahead…..now here…….giant power towers over ancient stone walls….roundabout…..green fields…tree-lines tall and old…fossil fuel cars everywhere……climate changers…….centuries old churches in ancient towns roll by…..more ancient walls….steel fence now…….green field……first english stop coming up ahead…..somewhere…Town..old stone factory 6 stories high. Very old structure….definite factory of some kind…..more bad news from America…100 year old homes now looking relatively new. British tradition continuing….down the old road….church after church…old beauty. ….Southwick…..
Power Tower over century old farmhouse…..green greatness…..rows and rows of trees bordering fields…plants covering stone walls…,.first straight line of road in miles…2 lane….century old castle or church???…Church. horses goats and donkeys…..all together in a field….we roll along…straight-line 2 lane again……YES smooth……loud motorcycle spewing by….so old ……thinking spew….…..roundabout…….plants come right to the edge of the narrow 2 lane. that’s the way it is everywhere…..rolling farmlands…..long straight……2 lane, plants close to the side of the narrow passage……roundabout…continuing…cornfields….ancient walls of tiny stones…..British farm beauty…..long narrow tight road through green trees both sides…..white clouds…..blue skies….close trees loud motorcycle….onward….ancient town and buildings through the trees…green flat farm fields forever…..Giant wind turbine over ancient stone buildings and farms….fossil cars….centuries-old stone house with solar panels. green hills blue skies……trying to block bad news…..wind moving trees…..ancient statues still standing…at roadside…old old town, tight streets…green fields again…another ancient town…. .. beautiful buildings from centuries past….…some new modern ones….Glastonbury 9

flyin thru the night……on the road again…..good one with everyone……saw my old friend Paul…good feelings …….. we’ll be back to England soon…..heading out now to cross the channel…..

8am …..rolling on…..town …man mowing lawn…unique art of man’s hand made homes…ancient wall…buildings centuries old….roundabout….Stonehenge turn…..4 lane now……through the farms, meadows, fields of green…London far ahead…..
…….past it now heading for the chunnel under the water…..open fields….feeling the water approaching……. beautiful England’s countryside now edging away…more fields…….sheep graze……on to fuel stop. Fossil. Don’t like that… electricity …… needs to be discovered and used….
