Listening to Marvin Gaye and other great Motown acts; listening to James Brown, how can anyone doubt that black lives matter? I am a listener who loves listening to music in my car. I used to check every new album out by driving around with it blasting. That was mostly back in the day of analog playback and it sounded so great. Now when I listen in a car, it’s just no good compared to the real thing.
Amazon, the leader in streaming, streams real full resolution music in HD. Why can’t a Tesla play it? Why not a Lincoln with ‘whats his name’ driving it and looking so cool? The answer is simple. Car manufacturers are stuck in the past with the sound systems they offer. Sure they have dozens of time aligned speakers etc. Sure they have carplay? But it all sounds like shit to me. Why?
Because it is. It’s just the same crap spotify is selling us. The low res source is just no good. It’s like polishing a turd. I want to know when guys like Elon Musk, the great innovator, are going to step up and deliver real sound to us. It’s now available everywhere in the world with AMAZON and no cars can play it. What is that all about? I want to hear Jimmy Reed, I want to hear the Temptations, Bob Dylan, Jay Z, Jimi Hendrix, Pearl Jam, Diana Krall, Aretha, the London Symphony and everyone else and have it sound great. Not compressed crap. Who’s gonna step up?
I want to hear ‘all the music’ in my car. Thanks for listening.
