We were in the studio for the first time, so jacked and so green! Learning how to record, how to get a sound. So excited to hear every playback, learn the machines, the methods the speakers, the microphones. the sound booths, the floors, the walls, the ceilings of the sound. Then the moment, the vibe, the time, the arrangement, the key. We made some mistakes and the first album was not as good as the band, but we learned and learned over the years. Stills and I joined again when I joined him with Nash and Crosby and that grew. But it all started with The Byrds, The Hollies and Buffalo Springfield.
