We have prehistoric giant ferns that grow 8 feet high and the good mushrooms take you much higher than that….each redwood tree has leaves that convert the coastal fog into over 50,000 gallons of giant drops of water upon their roots each year!!! When the creeks fill and spill out into the ocean the Salmon and Steelhead fight their way up them to mate and lay their eggs….. fertile ground these there hills of central California!!!
